On Tuesday 8 November, the Food & Nutrition Department held the first interhouse Masterchef Competition of the year.  Students made a great mix of tasty savoury and sweet dishes.  

As ever, the judges had a very difficult time choosing the best and looked at the skill levels, along with flavour and presentation of the dishes. After much deliberation, the following winners were announced:

Winners

Savoury:   Rami El-Zailaee (8GJG) - Chicken Tikka Masala with Flavoured Rice and Garlic Naan 
Dessert:    Leah Orr (8SGB) - Vanilla Sponge Celebration Cake 
Innovation Prize:   Abdullah Al-Roomy (8GJG) - Beehive Bread Cake
