This week the Food & Nutrition Department held the Year 7 MasterChef Competition. We had lots of enthusiastic Year 7 pupils making some very tasty and skilful dishes. 

There was a lovely atmosphere in the room; we had a number of staff visiting whilst the pupils were preparing and cooking their dishes, to see what pupils were making and to have a 'foodie' chat with them. 

Ms Boustead (Vice Principal) led the staff tasting and everyone commented on what a great selection of food there was and how well all the pupils had done.

It was very difficult to choose winners but, after much deliberation, the results were as follows:

Savoury Winner: Zaenab (7LML) - Smashed Burgers, Waffle Fries and Two Dips
Sweet Winner: Freya (7CRH) - Cornflake Pie and Custard
Special Skills:  Izzatullah (7CRH) - Lamb Chops and Asparagus, Vine Tomatoes, Yoghurt and Mint Chilli Sauce and individual Cheesecakes.
Special Skills: Essa (7DTE) - Sushi Platter with Spiced Salmon

House Winning Order:
