On Monday 4 November, thirty of our Year 11 History students were rewarded for outstanding effort, with a trip to the University of Manchester (UoM).

They attended a lecture on Black History Month, given by renowned historian and journalist Professor David Olusoga. The lecture allowed students to visit the beautiful university campus on Oxford Road, meet current UoM students and listen to both Olusoga and other key History staff from UoM.

All students loved the experience and even got the chance to ask questions and chat with Professor Olusoga at the end of the lecture.
